Changes in the Management Board of 1&1 Drillisch

- COO Martin Witt focuses on building 5G network - CFO André Driesen leaves the company at the end of the year

Maintal, 28 June 2019. On 30 June 2019, Martin Witt (64), Chief Operating Officer (COO) of
1&1 Drillisch AG, will leave the company's Management Board. Witt has asked the Supervisory
Board not to extend his contract, which will expire at that time. After 1&1 Drillisch has
successfully acquired 5G spectrum at an auction, he intends to concentrate on his
responsibilities as CEO of 1&1 Telecommunication SE and as CEO of Drillisch Netz AG and will
devote all his attention to the development of a modern mobile network, the procurement of
network services and the representation of interests in regulatory matters.

Ralph Dommermuth, CEO of 1&1 Drillisch AG, explains:
"We look forward to continuing our cooperation with Martin Witt. At the same time, we would like
to thank him for the very good and successful time on the Management Board of 1&1 Drillisch
AG, for numerous impulses and for his great personal commitment. Mr. Witt has made a
significant contribution to our success in recent years."

Martin Witt's successor as COO of 1&1 Drillisch AG will be Alessandro Nava (47) from 1 July.
In this role, Nava will combine the Management Board divisions "Technology and Development",
"Product Management" and "Operations, Customer Care" under his leadership. Nava has been
a member of the board of 1&1 Telecommunication SE since March 2014 and is responsible for
technology and product management.

There will be another change in the financial division at the end of the year: André Driesen (49),
CFO of 1&1 Drillisch AG, will leave the Management Board on 31 December 2019. Driesen has
requested the early termination of his contract in order to be able to face new challenges outside
1&1 Drillisch AG. The Supervisory Board respects this request, especially as André Driesen has
been with the company and its legal predecessors for more than 18 years.

Ralph Dommermuth emphasizes:
"The Supervisory Board and Management Board colleagues of 1&1 Drillisch AG wish André
Driesen all the best and good luck for his future professional and private life. We are deeply
grateful for his important achievements and successes over all these years, especially in the
context of the merger between 1&1 and Drillisch and the subsequent integration of the two
companies.

Driesen's successor will be Markus Huhn (51), previously CFO of 1&1 Telecommunication SE.
Huhn has been CFO of 1&1 Telecommunication SE for 12 years. Preparations for the new
position will take place over the next few months in close cooperation with André Driesen.
