1&1 Drillisch

With almost 15 million customer contracts, 1&1 Drillisch AG is one of the largest telecommunications providers in Germany. The company offers its customers a comprehensive product portfolio in the fields of broadband and wireless services.

About us

Leading virtual network operator in Germany

As the only virtual network operator in Germany, 1&1 Drillisch has long-term secured access to up to 30% of the wireless services network of Telefónica Deutschland via an MBA MVNO contract and can use it with its own products and services. This gives 1&1 Drillisch a special position on the German market.

Über uns

Nationwide
broadband offer

With about 4.3 million broadband connections, 1&1 Drillisch is the largest alternative DSL provider in Germany. The quality of its landline products has already received several awards in tests conducted by the renowned trade magazine connect. (test victory 2015/2017, 2nd place 2016/2018).

For fixed network connections, 1&1 Drillisch uses upstream providers such as Deutsche Telekom and has access to the fibre optic network of 1&1 Versatel. Thus, the so-called "last mile" in VDSL/Vectoring (FTTC) is primarily realised via the Layer 2 infrastructure of Deutsche Telekom. Fiber optic connections to the home (FTTH) can be offered through cooperation with city carriers.

Flächendeckendes Breitband-Angebot

Strong brand portfolio

1&1 Drillisch covers all important customer segments with its various brands. In addition to pure wireless and broadband products, the company also offers its customers attractive bundled products from wireless and fixed-line networks - supplemented by products such as home networking, online storage, video-on-demand or IPTV.

While the most important brand 1&1 covers the premium segment, our discount brands appeal to price-conscious target groups.

Markenportfolio

Successful participation in 5G Auction

One of the core competencies of 1&1 Drillisch is the ability to recognise customer wishes, trends and new business fields at an early stage. In June 2019, 1&1 Drillisch successfully participated in the 5G auction of the German Federal Network Agency and purchased the necessary frequencies for the establishment of a high-performance mobile radio network.

In cooperation with Deutsche Telekom, 1&1 positioned T-Online (then BTX) as a universal and modern online service. Millions of Internet users went online with 1&1, making T-Online the largest online service in Europe.

1&1 launches its first own Internet service and thus competes with T-Online for the first time.

Drillisch AG is born.
From the previously legally independent companies Forster Kommunikationselektronik GmbH and Drillisch Vertriebs-Serviceges. Nachrichtentechnik mbH & Co. KG are merged to form the Drillisch Group with Drillisch AG as the parent company.
